Dr. Abi Sriharan brings over fifteen years of experience in health care and higher education as an award-winning human behavior researcher, professor, senior leader, certified leadership coach and public speaker.
Her obsession with utilizing the latest research to help individuals realize their professional potential and achieve their life goals has led her all over the world.
After completing her undergraduate training in human biology and health promotion at the University of Toronto, Abi moved oceans and latitudes away to the UK to pursue her master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Oxford. Her research there focused on organizational behavior, change management, emotional intelligence, and leadership. The World Health Organization featured Abi's leading graduate research work in their special publication on Resilient Health Systems.
While at Oxford, Abi was recruited by Mount Sinai Hospital and the University of Toronto to lead leadership development and health systems reorganizations at a global level. In this role, she studied health care leaders around the world to understand how self-awareness, motivation, and determination can help individuals reach their true potential. What Abi discovered was that, despite the cultural and contextual differences, everyone at life's crossroads faces similar challenges and a common set of success factors.
Over the past fifteen years, her research enabled her to lead successful leadership programs and health systems transformation initiatives in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, China, Israel, Dubai, Qatar, Turkey, Jordan, and Argentina.
